Sponsorship and Donations
If, whether as an individual or a company, you are willing to donate £3,000 or more to the
publication of a specific volume of the edition, your name will appear on the reverse title
page as a sponsor of that volume. And a donation of £12,000 will allow you to appear as sole
sponsor of the volume.
But any donation, however small, will help towards our dual aims of publishing the full
edition and making it available to as wide a readership as possible. And if you are a
British taxpayer, we will ask you to complete a Gift Aid form that will allow us to recover
the income tax you will have paid on your donation. All donors will receive a bookplate
recording their contribution towards publication of the Edition; if you donate £500 or more,
you will receive a specifically worded bookplate for each volume you subsequently purchase.
Subscription Payments by Monthly Standing Order
You may not relish the thought of finding twice a year the full cost of a volume in a single
payment. We therefore offer a subscription scheme in which, in return for payments by
standing order of £10 per month, you will receive each volume on publication at a 25% discount
on the full retail price, plus postage*, subject to your having a sufficient balance in your
account. As a monthly subscriber, you can cancel your payments at any time providing your
account remains in credit and receive a full refund of all money in your account.
* - currently estimated at:
- £4.00 - £10.50 for addresses within Europe;
- £9.50 - £21.50 for World Zone 1 (the Americas, Africa and Near and Middle Asia);
- £10.50 - £24.50 for World Zone 2 (Australasia and the Far East).
Single Payment Subscriptions and Pre-Publication Orders
If you prefer not to commit yourself to monthly payments or do not wish automatically to
receive all new volumes, you can still make sizeable savings on the full purchase price by
joining our subscriber mailing list. With each volume that we publish, we will send you
details of the next volume and its anticipated publication date. Providing you return the
form, with or without payment, at least four weeks before the projected publication date,
or if you have advised us that you wish to receive a copy of each volume as it is issued,
you will receive a 10% discount on the full retail price. If you have chosen not to pay in
advance, you will be invoiced with the volume.
And even if you are not on our subscriber mailing list, you can still obtain individual
volumes at a 10% discount providing that we receive your order with at least four weeks
before the advertised publication date.
Back Volumes
Providing that you remain on our subscription list, we will continue to send you details
of forthcoming volumes whether or not you have recently taken up an invitation to buy.
Should you subsequently wish to purchase earlier volumes, including those originally
published by Novello, we shall continue to offer back volumes for sale at similarly
discounted prices (25% for monthly subscribers; 10% for others) for as long as they remain
in print.
Overseas Subscribers
Unless you inform us that you prefer to receive a volume by surface mail, volumes will be
sent to overseas purchasers by air mail. Unfortunately, because of the high charges levied
by banks on foreign currency transaction, we can only accept payment in sterling. We can,
however, accept payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
